Generally, it is recommended to replace the fluid every 2 years or 40,000 kilometers. Brake fluid is hygroscopic and will absorb moisture from the air over time, resulting in a lower boiling point and increased corrosiveness, which can affect the braking performance.
If the heavy truck is used in harsh conditions, such as in humid areas, or if the moisture content of the fluid reaches 3%, it is also necessary to replace it immediately. Anyway, the driver should to brake fluid tester every year.

Do not mix different types and brands of brake fluids to avoid affecting braking performance. Regularly check the level and quality of the fluid. If you find the level is too low or the oil is cloudy or has a darker color, add or replace it promptly. Brake fuel storage location: It is usually placed next to the brake master cylinder in the engine system, below the cab parts on the driver’s side. The brake fluid is stored in a plastic container with transparent scale lines, known as the oil tank, which makes it convenient for the owner to check the fluid level.
