Wide-angle mirror: Generally integrated below or on the side of the main rearview mirror, its lens has a larger curvature, providing a wider field of view. It is mainly used to make up for the insufficient field of view of the main rearview mirror, helping the driver observe the areas closer to the vehicle on both sides and a wider range behind, reducing blind spots.
Door side mirror: Some large heavy-duty truck side mirror will be equipped with a rearview mirror for supplementary blind area observation (referred to as door mirror), installed above the door, mainly used to observe the area below the right side of the cab, especially when the vehicle turns, backs, or passes through complex road conditions, it can help the driver promptly detect obstacles, pedestrians, or other vehicles near the bottom of the vehicle on the right side, reducing the risk of accidents.
